movement between two camera eyes creates a feeling of disorientation. Imagery: Texas Flag, generic homes, travel (lines on the road), highway on-ramps/overpasses. (travel, re-location, adaptation to environment are some common themes)
2) Recorded Recording
video camera footage transferred to computer via display screen, recorded onto the webcam. Imagery: Front doors of houses/apts., a neighborhood street, mailboxes, addresses, etc.
( items associated with physical place. Homes, neighborhoods, and streets are common themes)
3) Stop Motion/Time Lapse
Walking into a front door, movement of an animal (cat) from place to place throughout the course of a day. (routine, variations in actions over the same space or spaces is the idea)

The Recording Recording Idea sounds best as you could probably get the most out of it. However, I'm not sure if you'll be able to find any of the mailboxes or houses inside of this room unless you already have pre-recorded video or still images of it.
I REALLY like the third idea you have listed here. My main reason for that is that you chose to use a cat. I have always thought of "place" as requiring a "human" mind to decide it's purpose, but your idea takes it out of that realm.
I think the second idea Recording Recording has the most potential. Maybe you could go deeper into the physical place to describe the person who lives in it.
I like the third idea the best. For the same reasons the Jason lists. Not only is it any means necessary, it is any animal necessary.
Most of your outlines seem to fall in the realm of common and everyday objects, and the enviroment that they interact with. I think if a short story of how these things work, function and interact might seem malleble. What makes them work, why they exsist and and the consequences of thier exsistence in your world.
I guess the 3rd idea would be good. I like the idea of moving through places and using stop motion.
third idea is the strongest in my opinion. animals are fascinating because they just have an entirely different stream of consciousness than we do, as if they exist in another world.
the third one because it would be interesting to investigate the various movements of the animal. I also gave some thought to using stop motion myself.
Yup, the third idea. It could be more than just the cat if it is the same place recored throughout the day, this could go in many directions. I do love cats, though!
